From Jone, here is a brief summary of our weekend
 
We will start Sat. morning with clay. We form lots of teenie birds that can dry overnight to be ready to join the Toadstool project on Sun. 
 
From there we will pull out paper, paints and brushes to go crazy painting leaves and vines, learning simple techniques for flowers, putting together borders for special cards and envelopes AND practicing small patterns to decorate our little peg folks.
 
After lunch we will help our little butterflies grow their wings..and use some of our painted patterns to dress them in their finest
We might make a few little paper flowers, too.
 
Sunday we will work on our Toadstool Group - painting bases, toadstools of many sizes AND Little people! Our birds should be dry, too, so we can paint them and add them to the “scene”
 
After lunch we can work on any unfinished goodies and paint more cards and laugh and talk
